Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art - Jun, 2024

📚📚📚📚

I have to admit, breathing isn’t something I’ve paid a lot of attention to, which seems kind of… normal? I recall being taught early on that the body takes care of itself. To just leave it alone and let it do its thing. I also just wrote it off as it seems like something that becomes important enough to pay attention to when you’re doing physical activities beyond the usual upkeep for a normal person, and that’s usually accompanied by a trained professional.

There isn’t a lot of science here, but the stories are fascinating. It’s free and easy to try the exercises. I’m going to try my best to adhere to the lessons in the book, and revisit this page in a while to see how it turns out.

Who knows, it might completely change the way I live my life. Though I wouldn’t hold my… Never mind.
